    Firefox warnte mich schon (Zertifikat stimmt nicht usw.) , habs trotzdem geladen.

    Gab es das Bord überhaupt mal unter diesem Link? Hatte das als Lesezeichen so gespeichert.

    Bin noch zufrieden mit meinem Intel Core i5-4590 3.30GHz, 16GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1050Ti, Windows 8.1 Pro. Alles nicht der Brüller aber stabil am Laufen seit einigen Jahren. Die alte Gigabyte HF7700 mit 2GB hätte auch für Thief genügt, aber wegen Watchdogs 2 musste ich aufrüsten.

    Das war ein putziges Ende! Die Wachen "auf Steroiden" konnte ich mit einer Blitzbombe blind machen, dann bewusstlos schlagen. Wehe, wenn sie im Raum liegen bleiben - die Dynamitladung nimmt ihnen die letzten Atemzüge. also raus ins Vorzimmer mit denen, dann gehts gut.

    Ich fand die Missionen auch stellenweise optisch zu sehr in die Breite gedehnt, ewiges Gerammel. Aber die Details haben mir gut gefallen, auch der sprechende Rabe - ganz gut eingesprochen.


    Bis zum heutigen Tag bin ich mit DromEd nicht warm geworden und würde doch mal gern ein deutsches Tutorial haben, wie und wo man anfängt.

    Es lag an einem gröberen Fehler meinerseits. Ich hatte nicht drauf geachtet, dass manche Missionen nur für Thief Gold waren. Das bringt dann solches Chaos zusammen! Da bin ich zu flüchtig im FM-Loader drauf und habe gestartet.

    Die Thief2-Missionen laufen alle wieder prima. Warum aber Thief2.exe nach frischer Installation kommentarlos NICHT startete, bleibt mir ein Rätsel.

    Und, dass es nach der Installation von T2Fix mit den geringsten Optionen dann auf einmal lief - ebenfalls rätselhaft!

    Nun, ich freue mich erst mal , dass alles läuft.

    Ok, alles bissel verwirrend grad.

    Jetzt sag mal bitte: "HDMOD" ist doch nur ein Ordner, den ich verschieben kann. Er heisst "HDMOD". Verschieben ich ihn, dann habe ich keinen HDMOD mehr.

    Habe ich gemacht.

    Aber die "NewDark Graphics Settings" sind doch ein eigenständiges Proggie. Da taucht nix mit "HDMOD" auf. Wenn HDMOD jetzt der Kosename von "NewDark Graphics Settings" ist, habe ich die ganze Zeit das Falsche getan !


    Habe dummerweise nie geschaut, ob TGold oder T2-Missionen.


    Ich arbeite morgen wieder dran.

    So, frische Installation ist durch. Sieht wieder ganz gut aus, nachdem ich den TFix1.27 in der niedrigsten Stufe durch habe (Thief2.exe liess sich erst nicht starten. Dann hatte ich TFix1.26 erst probiert - Fehlermeldung von wegen ungültiger Thief-Installation; nur mit TFix1.27 ging es weiter und dann startete das Spiel ordentlich!).

    Nur die Mission "1MiL_Recipe" zeigte keine schönen Texturen ( wie vorher !).

    Auch nach Ausführen von "NewDark Graphics Settings" und kleinen Feintunings keine Veränderung. Das sieht dann so aus:

    Jetzt hauts dem Fass den Boden raus.

    Nachdem ich T2Fix_1,27d durchlaufen liess, danach das Semikolon in der cam_mod.ini bei "FM" rausgemacht habe (always start the fm- selector). Verabschiedet sich Thief2 mit einem leeren Startmenü und einem Crash-to-Desk.


    Danke fibanocci für die Hinweise . Habe ich entfernt und keinen sichtbaren Erfolg gehabt, da sich dein Ansatz auf ein anderes Problem bezog.

    Ui, ich weiss überhaupt nicht, wo ich jetzt weiter suchen soll. Kann jemand helfen???

    Die einzige, mir bewusste, Änderung war, dass ich vorschriftsmäßig den gesamten Thief-Ordner VOR dem Super-Fix aus dem C.\Program - Ordner raus gemovt habe in C:\T2 . War es das vielleicht?



    Hier ist aber doch alles in Ordnung, oder?


    Vermutlich liegts am HD-Texture-Mod, dass ich sStellenweise schwarze Texturen in Treppen habe.

    Dann wieder höre ich keine einzige Tür beim Öffnen.

    Heute in 2 der neuen Contest-Missionen hatte ich genug Pfeile, konnte aber keinen einzigen herausziehen um zu Zielen, ebenso keine Keule, kein Schwert.

    Wo finde ich diesen HD-Mod jetzt wieder und kann ihn deaktivieren?


    Ich versuche es erst einmal mit T2Fix und melde mich wieder.
